Dallas/Tempe/San Diego

Now a few days later my mind has already moved on to greener pastures but from what I can recall the Dallas show was great. So was the Tempe show even though the day was hot as a ")/(&€#/&=".

Yesterday we played the San Diego street scene. The day had all the best that California has to offer, sunshine, beers, surfing, beanburritos, fish tacos and great shows. We saw the Eagles of Death Metal play again and we were of course very excited to see the mighty Devo fill in for the Black Crowes. The Devo show was good as hell and we all found the day being a total success. That is the ones of us who are not sick.

Pelle has a high fever and Vig is also sick. Hopefully Pelle can do the remaining shows. He did well last night and has been put in hibernation in a hotelroom in San Diego.

YEEEEEHAAAAAAA!!!!!

Hey there lads and lassies!

Here is the latest from Hives camp.

The Hives are back in the Uves of Ey playing Austin TX last night.

We got to see and meet the great Willowz and experience the mighty force of the much too excellent Eagles of Death metal. I can tell this tour is gonna go down in history. Those of you who don't see this will have no memories of value when you kick the bucket and you would all do best in making your way down to one or more of the remaining shows and see this rock´n roll spectacle. I for one am excited like a Jason Voorhees on a darkened summer camp.

We managed to pull off quite a good show even though all our gear was held hostage by the US customs. They could see the deadly force in our guitars and decided the nations youth would suffer from brutal treatment the Hives would offer with their musical tools.

Tonight Dallas will go down in flames after the Rock'n roll pirates have sailed into town this morning.

I am just hearing we might get our stuff down here in time. Let's hope for that.

The Buenos Aires show and the Santiago show were also amazing and the Hives will happily come back to South America.

Brazil gossip!

So we have now played Brasilia and Sao Paulo, had a day off in Rio and are currently on location to play here in Porto Alegre.

The Hives have enjoyed their time in Brazil and are looking forward to the upcoming Chile and Argentina shows.

Just ate:
1 veggie burger
some salad
1 coke
1 sparkling water
1 pizza

Yesterday was Caipihrina day in Rio so a day after you have to load up with fat and salt.

That tip of the day will finish this days diary.
