Where: Rock Werchter, Belgium
When: 30/06/2011
Story: 2 months I've been waiting for this amazing concert! I wanted to come into your outfits. (top hat, smoking, white bow,...) A week before the concert, I asked my mom and grandmother to make this things for me. And the result was wonderful!
You guys, you were programmed to 17h30 on Main Stage.. So, I leave my home that day at 7h. I definitely wanted to be on time for your performance! And I was!
When Chris Dangerous starts the first song "Come on" with his drums, I got goose bumps! Your set was great! It really rocks Rock Werchter!
And Pelle, my hero, his speeches were fantastic! (and again, and again, and again,...) I love his statements!
In the middle of the set, just before Pelle wants to start another speech, I put up the sign that I had hold in my hands. I had written: Pelle, you're awesome! And yes, Pelle, you saw it! And immediately you told the crowd that everyone must see my sign and that everyone should think like me! The camera people from Werchter spotted me and I came on the big screens near the stage. I was going out of my mind at that moment! The first I thought in myself: You guys have seen me! A little boy from Belgium, a big fan, and Pelle saw it! Amazing!!
After that concert, I was the happiest person in the world! It's more than a half year ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday!
A week ago, I came on Belgian radio, Studio Brussels, and I told about this concert and my outfit I was wearing. The presenter was impressed! After the interview, I could choose a number. I choose for your classic: Hate to say I told you so! Why? Nicholaus Arson can play that riff so good!
Nowadays, I still have the sign at my room! That sign will always remember me of that wonderful performance that you have given!
Thanks to Rock Werchter that they asked you! But more thanks to you guys! The Hives forever!

Where: Sydney, Australia
When: 28/07/2011
Story: having already seen them and traveled around to their perth, adelaide and melbourne shows, i was in sydney for the last sideshow of the hives 2011 australian tour.
it was about two hours before doors, and three strangers and myself were lining up outside the enmore theatre, waiting to get awesome spots for the show. as we're chatting and getting to know eachother, i look up and see the hives staring at us out of a van thats driving past.
i had already met them in adelaide, and wasn't too fussed about meeting them again because i didn't want to come across as a stalker or anything. but the others were nervous/excited, so all four of us went around the back to see if we could get autographs.
at the back of the venue, we found all five of the guys waiting for us. we stopped and had a bit of a chat, and i got to thank them for four amazing shows, and for being the best live band in the world.
next thing i know they ask if we want to come in and watch soundcheck. impossible to say no, all of a sudden we're inside an empty enmore theatre watching the hives warm up.
they asked for requests, so we obliged with statecontrol, return the favor and automatic schmuck. The guys couldn't remember how to play statecontrol, so they had to borrow my ipod as a little refresher. and i am now the owner of a video of a terrible rendition of automatic schmuck, which i which pelle made me promise never to release to the world.
it was honestly the most surreal and amazing afternoon of my entire life, and the perfect way to end a week of epic gigs. can't think of a better way to spend my time and money. i can never thank the hives enough for coming down under and proving to all my friends that i am right in raving about them being the best band ever.

Where: Madrid
When: DcodeFest 2011
Story: June 25 day was amazing and unexpected. Thanks to a photo contest, dressed in the style THE HIVES, I knew you. When I heard he had won,I did not believe. meet you in person? that's crazy!
Then I took a bus ticket and from Vitoria (where I saw you perform at the Rock Festival Azkena) trip to Madrid to attend the Dcodefest and to meet you. It was totally an adventure.
Although we had to wait because your plane was delayed, it was worth.
It was exciting to see you, give your hand, take photos ...
I wanted to have talked more with you but did not give us time. Still I am very happy to have met and I hope you liked my little card, if you have time would make me very excited that I answered.
ps: Your show was incredible, wonderful, amazing ... you were definitely the best of the festival, which brought madness, haha that was what people wanted!
A greeting guys! and THANK YOU
Ania.

Where: Budapest, Hungary
When: August 12, 2010
Story: The day after their gig @ Szigetfestival in Budapest me and my friends were having a tour in the city.
While we were sitting on a monument in a square which I do not remember we saw this guy sitting at our side, having a beer and just relaxing.
My friend tells me: \\\"Hey, look at that guy, doesn\\\'t he look like the singer of The Hives?\\\"
\\\"Let me see... He totally does ZOMG!\\\"
\\\"I wonder if it\\\'s really him\\\"
\\\"Oh come on, it would be impossible.\\\"
So we keep guessing for 5 minutes staring at him. He also noticed us ahahah.
Eventually I decided to go and ask him.
He was really Howlin, and there was also Vigilante sitting nearby. xD
At the time we didn\\\'t know The Hives, apart from a couple of songs, but we were just enthusiastic for the gig of the day before.
Suddenly they became almost my favourite band.
Can\\\'t wait to see you again guys!
