Where: Zénith, Paris, France

When: Sunday, April 20th 2008 (at 1 a.m.)

Story:
I was really excited to go to their gig, knowing it was the last one of their tour in Europe. Pelle made some effort to speak French, quite good actually. But they were really more than good, they trully rule the world!
We waited in the rain for a long time after the concert, but we finally saw Vigilante, then Chris who was very nice, and talked with him for a few minutes. We just saw Pelle and Nicholaus passing by very quickly (too sad).
Anyway, it was spectacular, I'll never forget it!
Merci The Hives!
La France adore les Hives!! Oui, oui, oui, on t'aime aussi Pelle! :D

Where: Lisbon - Portugal

When: April 9 2008

Story:
When The Hives finally announced a date in Lisbon, I couldn´t help the excitment. I was in third row, little on the right. The show was insane and very good. Pelle is a great frontman, and he made the crowd swear that we would always and only follow The God (The God being The Hives).
I waited 2 hours maybe after the show and I get to meet all of them. I was the one saying "trevlig ätt träffas" to each one, in a very funny accent. Pelle and Chris talked a lot with the fans and they are adorable and very friendly. It was clear that Niklas was tired. I felt sorry to be bothering him. I hope he will be ok and have a lot of fun in the shows.
I was sweaty, tired and dizzy after the show, but it was worth like nothing else could be.
Hives, thanks a lot for letting us meet you. And maybe we meet again in the Alive Festival. Have a great time all of you, and thanks for giving me the best night of my life!
Kisses
Edy

Where: Rock City, Nottingham, UK

When: 16th April 2008

Story:
I've been a massive fan for about 6 years but I had never had the opportunity to see them live before so when I found out that they were coming to my home town I was sooo excited and I booked tickets right away. I knew this was my only chance to meet them and I was determined not to blow this chance.

We got to the show about an hour before the doors opened so as we could get to the front and my brother and I were just standing in the que and I saw this stylish guy walking past on the opposite side of the road, as he got closer I realised it was Pelle! I couldn't go over to him as I would have lost my place in line. When we were eventually allowed into the venue we rushed to the front and had to stand through the boring support act. When The Hives came on I couldn't believe my eyes, my favourite band standing right in front of us, I kept calling Nick and he looked at me and smiled. It was an amazing show although being pushed around in a crazy crowd isn't really my thing, I'm just there to appreciate the music, as they deserve!!

When the show ended everyone was looking round the floor for picks, my brother asked the security guard to get one off the stage that he saw Nick drop, I didn't get one unfortunately. We went round to the back door to see if we could meet them. It was freezing cold and raining....but it was worth the wait!!! There was only 6 of us waiting so it was awesome, we were waiting for about 2 and a half hours in total. We got all their autographs and pictures with them. When Matt come out after an hour of waiting he told us that the others were talking to a Swedish singer called Marit Bergman that was performing down the road. He was so lovely, he gave us a pick each and signed my ticket and got a picture with him before he got on the bus. Then Vig came out about 15 mins later. Then Chris came out for a smoke and then went back in. He then come out again and kept us company, I had a great chat with him about what they do during the day, drinking Red Bull and he was saying how tiring it is...but they love performing! I was staring into his glaring eyes! Nick eventually came out...there he was OMG, I managed to talk to him without being nervous at all. My brother was asking about the guitar he broke at the end of the show, he said oh they'll fix it! Talked to him about his back problem that's getting better and I told him that he's my favourite! He then gave his jacket away to the other guy...not fair!! He said Pelle was in the shower, so we waited and waited and finally Pelle come out at like 1.00 in the morning, he was much nicer than I thought, not the same person as he is on stage, so charming!

The best day of my life...dreamed of this for so long!!! Thank you so much to The Hives!!! Please come again!!!

Love
Sarah

Finally! The Hives playing a show I could go to after waiting to see them a while. I went down real early to get a glimpse of them before the show. Arson I met first, he was really cool. Matt came out a little later and we talked about bass playing, being a bassist myself and he's my hero, so to speak. I met Vigilante next then I finally got to meet Pelle! He was that hot in real life, lol, people on the forum know how much I like him. Finally I met Chris and he was uber cool, looking forward to the show, which was utterly fantastic! Best day of my life. Thanks Hives!
