I took MANY pictures at this show, but I want to share one in particular. It's not the best quality but the story is important. While waiting on line outside, Nicholas Arson walked by. I shouted "HEY ARSON!" He turned and waved, but of course I was fumbling with the camera yet a good five seconds later he was still holding the pose until he knew I took this picture. What a gentleman! Many other rock stars might not have even waved, but Mr. Arson was nice enough to let me take his picture. I know it sounds pathetic but I believe it is important. There's nothing cooler than a band who appreciates their fans.
TO THE HIVES- AMAZING SHOW! Best show I've been to. Don't forget about your fans over here in the states, there may not be as many fans here as there are in Europe, but I can assure you that they do exist and many are die hard fans. Thanks again for the photos, an amazing show, the awesome suits, the energy and of course...the music.

i was in columbus to see the hives open for maroon 5, the only reason i went was just to see the hives, i got in columbus really early and i decided to walk downtown with my dad and i had one of my hives shirts on, and i look up and i see some people looking and waving at me, im like woah thats the hives! i go up there, unbearabley nervous, i shook their hands, said how i loved their music, and wished them good luck for the show. the crazy thing was, Nicholaus knew my name. he was like "your mahlon right?" and im like wow, and he told me he remembered me from this website when i sent an email, the hives are the nicest people ever. they were so friendly and polite, I had my camera with me but i thought it would be rude to ask for a picture since they were eating. they are the greatest band ever! and i thank you guys for taking the time to talk to me and making my day completely amazing.

The Hives exceeded my expectations. I've been familiar with their music for a while now, but seeing them live just absolutely blew my mind. Such amazing energy in all of the members. I got a drumstick AND a guitar pick. I will be at the next Hives show in the area.
