Ah yes.. THE HIVES. Long ago while aimlessly wondering through the dusted streets of Austin Texas I came upon a very pale gentleman.

We exchanged handshakes and talked at length about Swedish weather. The Hives should be your favorite band by now.

I think it is funny to look bummed out in photos. Pelle thinks its funny to wear a shirt with his own name on it. Apparently we are both right.

I met the Hives after their gig in Paris, it was my 2nd time seeing them and I really wanted to congrats them for this amazing show.

I first saw the guys of D4, then Dr Matt Destruction (beaucoup de charisme) and then the others. Pelle is very cool, (he was eating his pizza) he speaks a lot.
they all signed my ticket.
I remember I wanted to speak to Chris, so I say his name: "Chris" and I realize that they are all 5 looking at me, I try to speak but nothing comes out of my mouth. I guess they were thinking "poor girl" but I don't care I was so glad to meet them.

On parlera plus la prochaine fois hein Chris?!...

Where: Adelaide! Thebarton Theatre! Also big star records!

When: October 2005

Pretty much brilliant! About half way through The Hives were playing Die, All Right! The D4 had finished playing earlier and they were great but couldn't touch the Hives perfection. Pelle was balancing on the barrier and grabbed my hand for balance as I am quite tall. I was 16 and it was my first ever concert. I have been loving the Hives ever since 2001 as my favourite band! but 2005's experience set up the Hives as my favourite band in concrete. I tell everyone I know about The Hives, so much so I'm known as 'That Hives Guy' and people understand. Earlier that day I got a copy of Barely Legal signed by the entire band when they made an in store appearance at Big Star Records. Pelle said "see you at the show tonight" and complimented my haircut which was almost identical to his accept that he was blonde at the time... THE HIVES CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER! wow, what a! lame story... ah well...
